What is rabies disease? When you are bitten by a rabid animal, then rabies virus enters the wound from the infected saliva, rabies virus travels through the nerves to the spinal cord and brain, which can last approximately 3 to 12 weeks. When the virus reached the brain, the virus multiplies rapidly and passed to the salivary glands. Signs and symptoms begin to present. The death usually happens within 7 days of becoming sick. However, Rabies is a preventable viral disease by human rabies vaccine. The most important matter is to get the human rabies vaccine injected in time.   The wound should be treated in a timely and correct manner, strictly disinfected, the risk of the wound should be assessed. Then rabies vaccine should be vaccinated according to the results. Five-dose rabies vaccine should be carried out on D 0-3-7-14-28 respectively.
